Catherine V. Wall died peacefully on January 23, 2026. She was 102 years old. She was a lifelong resident of Kearny.
Visiting will be on Friday January 30, 2026, from 9:00 until 10:30 am at the Armitage Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive in Kearny. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Stephen’s Church at 11:00 am and interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Cathy was a Consultant for The Community Award Foundation at Prudential Insurance Company in Newark. She earned her associate's degree. Cathy was very involved at St. Stephen’s Church in Kearny where she served as a Eucharist Minister and taught CCD and was a member of The Rosary Society. She was a Girl Scout Leader, volunteered many years at West Hudson Hospital and enjoyed her membership in The Newark Preservation and Landmark Society. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Sister of the late Maurice, Edward, Joseph, Thomas, William and Robert Wall and Eileen Czaplicki. Cathy is survived by many loving nieces and nephews along with their families.
